On September 1st 2022, we launched a new frontend design. The goal has been to make it as easy as possible for you to focus on what’s most important: To execute strategies.
The user experience is new, but your data is still the same. Many things will look familiar, but a lot of things will also change. Here are the main changes in the new design:
1. Clean up the interface
The hardest thing is to make things simple. We have tweaked the existing interface with one focus: To make it easier for you as a customer to focus on what’s important: Executing strategies.
2. A new color system
We have changed the colors to make information, graphs, and numbers easier to understand and more pleasant to read. Our brand colors orange, black and white are used to frame the platform, a traffic light color palette is used to display the status of your strategies and a separate color palette is used for all data visualization.
3. More consistent use of typography
This is a bit like good referees in sports: If they are good, you don’t notice them. The same applies to our new principles for typography. A clear hierarchy is used to make it easy for everyone to find the information they look for, be it a filter, a header, or a description of a strategic initiative.
4. Goodbye lists, hello strategy cards
Lists are good for – yes – lists. In our existing platform lists were used for all data. In the new design we use cards to give you a quicker view of all strategies and lists to visualize all the connected pillars and initiatives.
5. Drag and drop and drag and drop and…
Yes! Finally, a drag and drop option is available in all strategy hierarchies in our SEM-platform to vertically move the Pillars, Objectives and Actions according to the manager decisions and priorities.
6. Instant status
A new progress bar will help to stay up to date with the strategy execution.
